If FilePile is not working for you, we want to make it right. This policy explains when you can request a refund and how to reach us.
If the service is unusable for you, contact us within 7 days of your purchase and we will review your request.
1. Our commitment
We build FilePile to save you time on invoice sorting and expense tracking. If you pay for a plan or credit pack and find the service unusable, you can ask for a refund within the timeframe below.
2. When refunds apply
Refunds are intended for situations where FilePile does not work for you in practice, for example:
- You cannot sign in, upload files, or access core features after reasonable troubleshooting
- Repeated errors or outages prevent you from using the service you paid for
- A billing mistake charged you incorrectly
Refunds are not meant for cases where the service works but you no longer need it, or where extracted invoice data needs manual correction. AI extraction can require review; that alone does not make the service unusable.
3. 7-day window
Submit your refund request within 7 calendar days of the purchase date shown on your receipt or platform invoice. Requests received after that window may still be considered in exceptional cases, but are not guaranteed.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@filepile.co from the address on your FilePile account and include:
- Your account email
- The date and amount of the charge
- A short description of why the service was unusable for you
If you are signed in, you can also open a support ticket from your account. That helps us find your billing history faster.
5. After you contact us
We review each request and may ask a few follow-up questions. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method when possible. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer, usually within 5–10 business days after approval.
If a refund is approved, access tied to that purchase may be adjusted or ended according to your plan terms.
